AMV are top of the class in national framework agreement

AMV have successfully competed for a coveted place on a national framework agreement to manufacture, supply and install a variety of steel outdoor sports and active play equipment. The invitation to tender was created by YPO (Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation) and is approximated to be worth between 6m and 10m in total value over the 4 years of the contract term.

Within the scope of the framework, AMV have been selected as an approved supplier of Steel Sports goals, Multi Use Games Areas (MUGAs), Active Playground Equipment (such as Traverse Climbing Walls and Steel Trim Trails) and Thermoplastic Playground & Pitch Markings.

Once the award to successful bidders had been publicly announced, suppliers then received direct feedback of how they scored against the criteria set out within the tender. AMV were subsequently delighted to be informed that they had scored the maximum award available of 100% in all sections of the framework document that they competed for.

“Quality engineering, technical expertise and delivering on our promises are the foundations upon which AMV has built its robust reputation."

The scoring criteria focused heavily on suppliers being able to clearly evidence high quality products, expert knowledge and a commitment to excellence in all areas of the business.

“Having taken the lead in co-ordinating a great team effort by my colleagues at AMV, I knew we had submitted a really strong bid” explained sales & marketing director Paul Garratt.

“Quality engineering, technical expertise and delivering on our promises are the foundations upon which AMV has built its robust reputation over the last 30 years. So whilst it wasn’t a complete surprise to have scored so highly, it’s nonetheless encouraging to receive independent validation from professionals outside of the business, confirming that we offer a first class product and service.”
